Dr. Richard Dang has over ten years of experience in the U.S. healthcare industry, holding leadership roles at major healthcare organizations, including Heritage Provider Network (California), Tenet Health, OPTUM / UnitedHealth Group, and Universal Health Services.

Being a versatile field leaders, Dr. Dang also assumed the role of a Data Analytics Engineer, who designed data pipelines and systems, process vast amount of healthcare data, built Dashboards to provide insights for leadership team, and facilitated decision making process.

Understanding the struggles of small and medium Healthcare organizations, which lack the resource (millions of dollars) and time (at least 2-3 years) needed to build a full-fledge in-house Data Analytics platform, Dr. Dang founded Health Information Management Advisor (HIMA), a consultancy that offers Analytics and Consulting services to small and midsize Plans, MSOs/IPAs.
